This elegant and spacious apartment (94 sqm) is located in the heart of Budapest, right on the famous Grand Boulevard. It is only a couple of steps away from the Margaret Bridge and the Danube; places with fascinating views to the Buda Castle, the Gellert Hill, all the bridges and the Parliament. Tramline # 2 also starts from there; a line, which was nominated as one of the 10 most scenic tramlines in the World by National Geographic.
The apartment is located on the 3rd floor of a very nice, fully renovated 19th century building. It has 3 rooms, each with separate entrances and with lockable doors. The largest bedroom has a king-sized bed, whilst the other 2 bedrooms have 1-1 single beds, and one of the single bed bedrooms also has a sofabed. All rooms are fully furnished; they all contain a wardrobe, a shelf, a desk, a chair, etc. The bathroom is large, and is equipped with corner bath tub. The kitchen is also fully furnished; it contains a gas cooker with an oven, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a coffee maker, a toaster, a microwave oven, as well as cooking utensils (such as glasses and chinaware, cutlery sets, dishes).
WIFI is available throughout the property, as well as a satellite TV with hundreds of TV channels in several different languages and a safe.
There are several restaurants, snack bars, night clubs, pubs, cafes, shops, bakeries, grocery-stores, supermarkets, antiquities and theatres in the neighborhood. Most of the major attractions, and transportation facilities are within walking distance from the apartment.

Area description
The apartment is located on the famous Grand Boulevard in a beautiful, renovated, 19th century building, just a couple of steps away from the Danube and the Margaret Bridge.
This apartment is just a few minutes walk away from the "Nyugati" / West Railway Station and from the huge and modern West End Shopping Mall, in which you can find hundreds of shops, restaurants, food stores, a cinema etc. The stop of Subway line #3 can also be found there.
The closest stop of tram lines #4 and #6 - a line that runs all along the Grand Boulevard - is just 40 meters from the apartment towards the direction of the river Danube. The best way to discover the Grand Boulevard is to take a seat and look out of the window of tram #4 or #6.
The Margaret Bridge and tram # 2 are 1 minute walk from the apartment. From the bridge there is a magnificent view to the Castle, the Gellert Hill, the Parliament, to the bridges and the river with the Danube bank (these are UNESCO World Heritage sites in Budapest). The stop of tram #2 can be found at the Margaret bridge. Tramline #2 runs all along the Danube and offers excellent views towards these World Heritage Sites. This is why it was elected as one of the 10 most scenic tramlines in the World by National Geographic.
On the Grand Boulevard and the neighboring streets there are many many restaurants, pubs, cafes and night clubs. The closest restaurant is just 40 meters away from the apartment. There are several small, cozy shops, groceries, but also supermarkets, markets, ATM-s, pharmacies, cinemas and theatres in the neighbourhood. Most of the major attractions, like the Parliament, Chain Bridge, St. Stephen's Basilica, amongst others are within walking distance from the apartment.
Margaret Island is also just 4 minutes walk away from the apartment. The Island itself is a large park with lots of trees, plants and flowers, as well as with some historic buildings and with a little zoo. At the entrance of the island you can find a nice fountain with music and light show. You can jog on the jogging track or have a nice walk or go swimming in the Sport Swimming Pool (9 minutes walk from the apartment). There are 8 in- and outdoor pools there and it is a famous place for the Hungarian swimming and water-polo sports - in 2006 and 2010 the Swimming European Championship was organized there and in 2014 the Water-polo European Championship will be held in this swimming pool. Furthermore, you can also sunbath and enjoy the view from one of the banks next to the Danube.
In the neighborhood of the apartment there are also two market halls. The first one is in Hold street, in a recently renovated old building that was build in 1897. The other one is a modern market hall in Lehel square. Both are just 10 - 15 minute walk from the apartment. You can buy quality cheap food, as well as freash fruits and vegetables in both places.
